At present, the infiltration of the body's own fat is used both to give volume in certain areas that require it, and to correct and regenerate the physical appearance of the patient. Body fat provides stem cells that contribute very effectively to develope new regenerative therapies. Among these we may mention the soft tissue reconstruction after removal of a breast lump or mastectomy. It is also very effective for developing the structure of cartilage or bone tissue.
